People my age may remember this song. “The Lord’s Prayer” by Sister Janet Meade. On the fiftieth anniversary of the song and at Easter we will remember it.
When our church, St.Catherines in Toledo, Ohio was trying to start a guitar /folk mass,( something a lot of churches were doing at the time) this rock version was climbing the charts to No. 4 in April, 1974. Do you remember?

I am semi retired after 35 plus years at the phone company. I have been writing nature and insect observations for over 50 years. I also had several articles published in the now defunct Young Entomologists Society journal in the 1990's. While I walk the dog or drive cars in farm country I have lots of thoughts I want to have a wider audience for, so I took a class on blogging to see how it goes. I also plan to comment on lots of pop music trivia, memories etc., including on my favorite artists; Tommy James and the Shondells, his solo stuff. The Doobie Brother's and John Mellencamp.
