Wasp and Spider Symbiotic Relationship?

Not too often do paper wasps and spiders live together. But one day I noticed a spider web nearly covering this frog garden decor. I knew there was a paper wasp nest in there all summer. I was thinking are they dead? Was the nest abandoned?

On a cooler day I was able to get a photo of the nest. A good sized one with over a dozen adults.

I found out soon enough when I moved it to look — wasps flying out.

Whether the spider purposely made a hole for the wasps or the wasps made sure they had a doorway. Inquiring minds want to know, but we will never know. Nature never ceases to amaze me.

Doobie Brothers First Time and Forty years later.

Back in May I posted this in My high school reunion page and my Centr Supermarket alumni page. The year Twenty Twenty Three was fifty years ago I saw the Doobie Brothers open for Rare Earth at the Toledo Sports arena  with my friend Dave.  The entry on my calendar was Rare Earth so that was who I really went to hear with their three years of hits and a bit past their peak. Not the new Doobie Brothers who only had four songs out. But look who is still around fifty plus years later and I like the Doobies much more than Rare Earth now.
As it was my first concert and it  was on May 11, 1973 (not April as I had previously thought, (I checked my calendar I still have it!). And because it was a Friday night, I believe I called off work (I can’t  believe I did THAT!  But somehow I was off work so don’t tell any of my Centre Mkt alumni) Lol.
This song was just released and debuted on The top 100 chart on April 21, 1973 and became my favorite song of theirs mostly because of the guitar sound and solo guitar part on one side of the stereo. I bought the 45 RPM record about June of 1973, probably for my high  school graduation.  I played it daily for months. Still have the record. I always  knew that was a harmonica in the song but never saw it played or on video.
Nor did I realize it was Tom Johnston playing it. Enjoy.
This was NOT the video I have seen before with old and new stuff in it, but I like it.

And I saw the Doobies again  40 years later in 2013, the year I had my 40th High school reunion. And during their 50th anniversary tour (postponed by covid to be the 52nd anniversary  or the 2nd anniversary of the 50th. Lol) 2022.

I probably saw them sing this version back then in 1973.
